How many times have you heard, do your due diligence(DD) on a site before you site up, or apply for a new work at home job? And you should. It's very important to know what it is you are up against. The site you're interested in may be a scam, or worse, may be a ploy to get your personal information for identity theft. Why send your information to someone, without checking them out first? If you are like most, then you may not know where to start looking.
Well folks, I came across a cool toolbar that makes it easy for you. I ran into some info on the DD Toolbar, which you can check out here, and so far I like it. It's catered mostly to the hyip and autosurf world, however the search tools are priceless for doing DD on work at home jobs as well. There are just as many scams out there in the work at home world as any other.
Here are some of the features this toolbar has:
- E-mail notifier - set up your pop3 email in the toolbar, get notified of new emails, and check your email with just a click.
- Monitors- one click access to go vote, check to see if a site is paying, etc. Monitors must pay a fee to be added to the toolbar.
- Blog RSS- one click access blogs with relevant info on the hyip/autosurf industry. You must post to your blog regularly to be added to the toolbar.
- Forums- check out what other people around the world are saying about a site
- Messages- instead of being emailed about changes in features and announcements. You don't read your emails anyways right? : )
- Weather- although I feel this is not needed here, you can check you local weather from your toolbar.
- Privacy- with this button you can instantly clear your cookies, cache and history from your browser.
- Search- I saved the best for last. This search feature is so cool. It's the best feature of the toolbar, I think. There are several searches you can do here:
- WhoIs
- Alexa Traffic
- Wayback Machine
- HotSurfs Scam Lookup
- HotHyips Scam Lookup
- Link Popularity
- Site Spell Check
- Get Meta Data
- About Us Wiki
- Whitepages Reverse Phone Lookup
- SEC Edgar Database
- Ebay
Now up until this toolbar, I was using the
MMG toolbar. And I have to admit, I was hoping for features like these in the
MMG toolbar, however they just
aren't there. I mostly only use the
MMG toolbar for the email notification. So I will be
uninstalling the
MMG toolbar after testing the
DD toolbar. It is definitely worth the switch.
